WHAT EXPLAINS THE RECENT BLUE WAVE IN EASTTOWN? – Without significant polling and survey data, it’s difficult to determine the exact reason(s) for the recent two year wave of Democratic victories. Obviously, we would like to think it’s due to great candidates, improved “get out the vote” efforts, and younger voters registering in record numbers as Democrats or Independents. However, the major reason is probably overall voter revulsion with Trump, his Republican administration, and his fellow Republican Senators. He and his Republican supported policies on immigration, international affairs, the environment, tariffs, tax policy and income inequality, education, and gun control are just completely out-of-step with today’s voters in Easttown.
CAN THE BLUE WAVE CAN CONTINUE IN 2019 – Absolutely! We have a great slate of candidates running in 2019 who will be working hard and canvassing throughout all Easttown neighborhoods in the fall. Learn more about our candidates.
