The Democratic Party is organized as a series of local committees. Local committees help local Democratic candidates get elected by phone banking, door knocking and leafletting. We are the committee for Easttown and we are dedicated to helping Democratic candidates get elected in Easttown.
Sometimes it seems like the Democratic Party is a big faceless organization that we don’t have much influence on. Nothing could be further from the truth. Every big-name candidate started as a local candidate. Come along to a committee meeting and get in on the ground floor of how elections are won!
You could run for office, you could help do paperwork, you could knock on doors for local candidates, you could volunteer at the polls, you could help clean up your local streets. There’s something for everyone’s level of comfort and talents. I ended up making this website!
