Easttown Township Democratic Committee Issues Resolution on Antisemitism & Hate

Like you, we were dismayed to learn of the recent antisemitic incidents in the area. For this reason, the Easttown Dems wrote and passed the following resolution on July 23rd by acclaim:

Over the past few months there have been incidents of antisemitic and pro-Nazi graffiti in Tredyffrin Township. These vile acts are local expressions of what has been a nationwide rise in crime motivated by hate against others due to their religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, or sexual orientation.

We, the members of the Easttown Township Democratic Committee, stand with our Jewish brothers and sisters and condemn these acts. We have a responsibility to stand up against these misguided values and outright lies that motivate further actions of hate. We encourage all members of the community to work together to build a community and culture that fosters acceptance, respect and understanding.

Therefore, be it resolved, that Easttown Township Democratic Committee does not and will not condone any act of violence or hatred against any person or group of people based on their ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, and health status.”
